· The Welfare@CampusLife team are the recommended first point of contact for any student who has been impacted by violence and abuse, including stalking. If you have experienced stalking and would like to speak with someone about your experience, make a named disclosure via Report and Support.

You don’t have to make an official report to access the Welfare@CampusLife team. Report and Support is a way to disclose if you have been affected by stalking. With your consent the team of Student Life Officers can help you with:

  • Offering confidential advice and info to help you decide what’s right for you
  • Navigating academic, accommodations, or living concerns
  • Being referred to counselling, medical and legal services
  • Accessing self-care support
  • Signpost to external specialist services
  • Being there to listen
  • Making a formal complaint or report, on-campus or off

  • Support in your School: If you feel comfortable sharing your information, you may consider speaking with your Personal Tutor or a member of your faculty support team. ·Extenuating Circumstances: If you feel your studies have been affected by what has happened you can consider applying for extenuating circumstances. The Welfare@CampusLife team can provide you with a supportive statement for your Extenuating Circumstances. It is really important you speak to someone before you sit any exams or submit work. Any of the support services listed on this page can help you with this.

The best way to get in touch with the Welfare@CampusLife team is to complete a named disclosure form. A student life officer will contact you  to arrange a confidential appointment. Alternatively, you can email us at Welfare.CampusLife@swansea.ac.uk
